The Journal of Victimology operates under a Platinum Open Access model, ensuring that all published research is immediately and permanently accessible to a global audience without financial barriers. This policy is central to our mission of fostering the widest possible dissemination of victimological studies and supporting the global academic community.

To support the operational costs of high-quality publishing—including rigorous peer review, editorial management, and long-term digital archiving—the journal typically applies an Article Processing Charge (APC).

However, in our commitment to encouraging diverse scholarly contributions regardless of institutional funding:

  1. Current APC Rate: The Article Processing Charge for manuscripts accepted for publication in the Journal of Victimology is 0 IDR (Free of Charge).
  2. Inclusivity: This waiver applies to all accepted articles, irrespective of the manuscript’s length, the number of authors, or the complexity of the research.

There are no submission fees, and no hidden costs are applied at any stage of the editorial process. This initiative ensures that the focus remains entirely on the scientific merit and social impact of the research.
