About the Journal
Journal of Victimology is an open-access, peer-reviewed periodical dedicated to fostering an Indonesian academic discourse on Victims study, specifically at the process of victimization and its impacts. The journal maintains a biannual publication schedule, releasing issues in April and Oktober. Each volume comprises five original research articles. The Editorial Board invites scholarly contributions that align with the thematic scope of victimology.
To uphold rigorous scientific standards, all submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The final determination regarding publication is rendered by the Editorial Board, guided by the evaluative reports and recommendations provided by independent expert reviewers.
Prospective authors are required to adhere strictly to the Author Guidelines and the prescribed manuscript template. Submissions that fail to align with the journal’s formatting requirements or editorial policies will be subject to immediate desk rejection. Only manuscripts that satisfy these technical and substantive criteria will proceed to the formal review stage.
