About the Journal

Al-Jinayah: Jurnal Hukum Pidana Islam is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to offer a national and international academic platform for cross-border legal research in Criminal Law and Islamic Criminal Law. It has been accredited by the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology based on the Decree of the Director General of Education, Research, and Technology Number 158/E/Kpt/202. In General, for one year, this journal will publish two volumes, namely in June and December, each containing seven articles.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that fall within the scope of the Al-Jinayah: Jurnal Hukum Pidana Islam. Please read the information on the peer-review process. The articles published in Al-Jinayah: Jurnal Hukum Pidana Islam are going through a double-blind peer-review process. Hence, the decision on whether the scientific article is accepted or not will be made by the Editorial Board based on the peer reviewer's recommendation.

If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the policies or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed.
